BBQ Grill

This is fresh off the creative crazy train – yes, we are cooking flatbreads on the BBQ. Not only is this an awesome taste experience, but it is also a genius way to enjoy a flatbread in the heat of summer without upping the temp in your house.

Instructions (10-12 minutes)

  1. Preheat your gas grill to a medium heat or prepare your charcoal grill (we recommend using a chimney starter and dumping coals in grill when ashed over).
  2. Spread heated coals evenly and adjust grill height or grill heat (if using propane) to medium high.
  3. Remove plastic film from flatbread.
  4. Carefully place flatbread on grill over indirect heat (place adjacent to fire in a location where grill is hot, but not over direct fire or coals as this will burn your flatbread) and close the lid of the grill. This will create an oven-like environment.
  5. Rotate flatbread at least once while cooking.  You may need to monitor your flatbread during cooking as grill heats can be unpredictable.
  6. Allow flatbread to cook thoroughly for approximately 10-12 minutes*.
  7. Carefully remove flatbread from grill and allow to cool before serving.

*Cooking times will vary depending on the type of grill.
