Natural Redefined

Food Philosophy:

At EVOL, we don’t have some scientific-sounding definition of natural. In fact, the term natural is so inappropriately used now a days that it really doesn’t mean anything anymore. So instead we are bringing you our own definition of natural and setting the bar high to bring you the best in made from scratch unadulterated deliciousness.

At EVOL, we don’t think it is natural to put hormones and antibiotics into meat, which is why you won’t find it in ours. But we do think it is natural to give animals the life they deserve without polluting the earth which is why we only source humanely and sustainably raised beef, pork and chicken. We do think it is natural for chickens to spread their wings and squawk their hearts out in the open outdoors which is why all of our eggs come from cage free chickens. We don’t think it is necessary to load our dairy with hormones which is why our cheese is rennet and rBGH-free.

At EVOL, natural food means keeping things simple. Your grandmother wouldn’t put preservatives in her home cooking so why would we? Using the right combination of fresh ingredients, homemade recipes and authentic preparation we believe that you should be able to cut into your food and identify every single ingredient (go ahead, try it!) and pronounce every ingredient listed (we also believe in short lists). But most importantly at EVOL natural tastes amazing and our motto is taste rules! It’s not rocket science that better ingredients taste better which is why all of our food will make you smile inside and out.

At EVOL, we think it is natural to help our neighbors, community and environment. We believe in green manufacturing because a little bit of conservation goes a long way. We know we don’t have all the answers but we are trying hard and encouraging our friends, family, customers and competitors to do the same.
